Conceito educativo de podcast: um olhar para além do foco técnico

Resumo

"A partir do entendimento de Mikhail Bakthin (2010), para o qual a linguagem carrega em si o conjunto de valores que a permeia, este artigo problematiza as definições da tecnologia podcast em sua área de estudos educativos de modo a levantar a existência de valores em comum associados a tais definições, analisando se estes se relacionam com referenciais educativos contemporâneos, representados pela concepção progressista de Paulo Freire (1971). Posteriormente, será caracterizada a natureza educativa da tecnologia em foco de modo a, partindo dos quesitos levantados, elaborar-se o objetivo central deste estudo: a construção de uma definição para o podcast coerente com o referencial educacional elencado. Aproveitando-se das exposições do filósofo Andrew Feenberg (2003) e elencando critérios de privilégio ao uso humano dos objetos tecnológicos nessa área, a definição proposta terá como alicerce a consideração conceitual da tecnologia na educação, vista e definida em razão de seu “fazer humano”, e não de suas características técnicas. A partir da conceituação constituída, o podcast será contraposto ao rádio, de modo a desvelar as particularidades de ambas tecnologias a fim de, caracterizando a natureza específica do podcast, verificar-se a validade da definição oferecida.

Educational concept of podcast: a look beyond the technical focus

Abstract:

From the understanding of Mikhail Bakhtin (2010), for which language carries the set of values that permeates it, this article discusses the definitions of podcast technology in your area of educational studies in order to identify the existence of common values among them, analyzing whether they relate to contemporary educational referential, represented by progressive conception of Paulo Freire (1971). Later, it will be characterized the educative nature of podcast in order to focus on, based on the questions raised, draw up the central goal of this study: the construction of a definition for the podcast consistent with the educational part listed references. Taking advantage of the exhibitions of the philosopher Andrew Feenberg (2003) and enumerating criteria to privilege human use of technological objects in this area, the proposed definition will consider a conceptual consideration of technology in education, views and defined because of its ""human doing ""rather than its technical characteristics. From conceptualization constituted, the podcast will be opposed to radio, to unveil the particularities of both technologies to characterizing the specific nature of the podcast, checking the validity of the definition offered.
