Tecnologias no Ensino da Música: revisão integrativa de investigações realizadas no Brasil e em Portugal

Resumo

"Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma revisão integrativa de literatura que envolveu dissertações de mestrado e teses de doutoramento realizadas em Portugal e no Brasil entre os anos de 2001 e 2013, com o intuito de contribuir para o estado de arte. Para orientar a pesquisa empírica foram formuladas as seguintes questões de partida: o que se investiga em Portugal e no Brasil sobre a utilização das tecnologias no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da música? Que problemas/questões de investigação estão na base dos estudos realizados? Que metodologias sustentam a pesquisa empírica implementada? O que reportam os resultados alcançados? Depois de uma pesquisa em diferentes repositórios e bases de dados, o corpus documental ficou constituído por 40 publicações, das quais 34 são dissertações de mestrado e 6 teses de doutoramento. Para efeito da apresentação dos dados, os artigos foram agrupados em função de quatro grandes áreas temáticas: i) estudos com enfoque generalista; ii) estudos cujo enfoque é analisarem a utilização de software já existente, iii) estudos cujo enfoque é a criação e avaliação de novos protótipos/sites/software e iv) estudos cujo enfoque é a formação de professores /educação online. Os resultados mostram que as diferentes ferramentas tecnológicas na música podem ser o fio condutor para o desenvolvimento de novas competências e múltiplas aprendizagens, havendo no entanto ainda muito a explorar no que se refere ao ensino e aprendizagem da música nos diferentes graus e níveis de ensino.

Technologies in Music Education: integrative review of research carried out in Brazil and Portugal

Abstract:

This article presents the results of an integrative literature review that involved dissertations and doctoral theses carried out in Portugal and Brazil between 2001 and 2013, in order to contribute to the state of the art. To guide the empirical research the following starting questions were: what is researched in Portugal and Brazil on the use of technology in both the teaching and learning music process? What problems / research questions are the studies supported on? Are any methodologies that support this empirical research being implemented? What results have been achieved? After a research in different repositories and databases, documentary corpus comprised 40 publications, of which 34 are master dissertations and six doctoral theses. For purposes of presentation of data, the articles were grouped according to four major thematic areas: i) studies with generalist approach; ii) studies whose focus uses and evaluate the use of existing software, iii) studies whose focus is the creation and evaluation of new prototypes / sites / software and finally iv) studies whose focus is the training of teachers’ online education. In this sense it is acknowledged that the various technological tools in music can be the guiding principle for the development of numerous learning processes as well as the development of motivation and commitment, enhancing the achievement of new skills, there being, nevertheless, still a lot to explore in this field in which education and development of music in different grades and grade levels are concerned.
